A new order has been placed and it’s time to celebrate! But first, let your customer know that their order was successful by sending an order confirmation SMS. This should be done immediately after a new order is placed, and don't forget to thank the buyer for their purchase. Include the order number and a link to access further order details.

🚚 Shipping Notifications

Help build anticipation by informing your customer when their order has shipped. Be sure to include the order number and a link for ease of package tracking. After all, 90% of customers prefer having the ability to track their orders.

📫 Delivery Notifications

Drive excitement by letting your consumer know when their order is out for delivery and when it is delivered. Once the consumer receives their package, it’s a great time to ask for feedback. Bonus tip: Offering a promo code in exchange for a review creates an opportunity for re-engagement with your customer through a repeat transaction.

❌ Order Cancellations

Things don’t always go as planned, and a customer may need to cancel their order. To reduce the number of incoming customer support inquiries, we advise sharing prompt SMS updates on order cancellations. Include the order number and tracking link to ensure the customer has access to all their order details.

📦 Returns & Refunds

Returns aren’t fun for anyone, but a company’s return process can be the determining factor on whether or not your customer makes a repeat purchase. After mailing back a return, your customer wants to know when they will see the refund. Make the return process seamless for your customer by confirming that their return was received and that it is being processed. Be sure to close the loop and share the refund amount when the return is complete.

🔁 Recurring Subscriptions 

Help your customers stay on top of their monthly expenses by notifying them of subscription renewals, upcoming charges, payment errors, and/or recurring bills. By sending an SMS regarding an upcoming transaction, you are providing your customer with the time needed to pause or cancel their subscription, which can help prevent chargeback fraud and allow for a better customer experience.
